Soft steps were taken at the base of the mountain, glacier eyes dull upon the scenery. Snow had taken to falling gently upon the territory, marring everything with its horrid whiteness. Oh how the obsidian female loathed winter. Even with a thick coat in the high altitudes she somehow always managed to find herself shivering.
A low grunt exhaled, slender frame putting itself into a sitting position. Maybe killing Denver and having all those higher-ups leave was the wrong thing to do. The days grew boring with no one to harass.
Assholes.

Cancer marched forward, equally disgruntled with the season, black back white from the snow. His fur was a bit thinner, his body unused to cold. All he had known was heat. Serenity? Was that who that lone figure was? Cancer gave a bark, shook himself off, and trotted toward her.

Ears twitched slightly at the sudden sound, glacier eyes traveling to find an obsidian figure approaching her. Company, great. It took the female a few moments to realize it was the crab that found himself in her presence.
She stood, body turned to the male's direction. A coy grin had formed itself on black lips before Serenity barked back, "A crab in the snow? I'm surprised you haven't suited yourself to the beach, love." [/color]
